San Diego All-Stars Try-Outs

San Diego All-Stars will conduct its try-outs for the 2012 spring and summer sessions on Saturday, March 10th from noon to 3pm to 9pm and Sunday, March 11th from 3pm to 6pm at Mission Bay High School.

You must attend both days! NOTE that we may stagger tryout times on Sunday if we decide the gym is too full for proper evaluation, so revisit this page after Saturday, March 10th to see if we have changed tryout times on Sunday..

This is a competitive try-outs and not all players will be selected to play on a San Diego All-Stars team. We may create more than one team per grade level.

Prior to attending, fill out the registration form on the right.Returning players must also fill out the form!

Note that you still need to check in at the registration table to get your tryout number and picture taken. We take your picture so that we can post it if you are selected for a team and also so that our evaluating coaches can identify you by both number and picture.

If you have prior obligations on the tryout dates which cannot be altered, we will accept a limited number of players for a make-up tryout during our first practice (date to be determined). Under CIF rules, players who are still engaged in high school basketball cannot participate in any outside basketball activity, so if your high school team is still playing in state competition, or if you cannot attend the try out for some other legitimate reason,

Teams will be announced on our website approximately 4 days after the try-out date and our first practice will shortly thereafter. We will contact you if you have been assigned to a team, and you may also visit the Teams page to see if you are listed.

Team schedules for spring and summer are finalized (or at least 99% finalized) and can be found by visiting the Teams page and clicking on the Team Schedule for the team that you hope to join. We ask all players to commit to being at all events. You will be part of a team of players that will practice and compete together and depend on your presence!

If you are selected for a team, a parent packet with financial information will be emailed to your parents at the email address you provided so that they can complete your registration as a San Diego All-Stars player.

Privacy Statement: If you are selected to play on a San Diego All-Stars team, some of the information you provide will be displayed on our website. We will NOT display your address, parents/guardian name, parent phone number, your phone number, your shoe size or uniform size. Posting of GPA is optional, but recommended. We will not share your contact information with any third party other than a requesting college coach. If you do not wish any information to appear on our website, please notify us at registration.
