College Recruiting Process

We are very proud that we have had a large number of players go on to play college basketball.

For most parents and players, the college basketball recruiting process is mysterious and perhaps a little magical. Over time, we've developed a top-notch program for educating our parents and players on the process, to take out the mystery and provide players with a clear understanding of their prospects while helping parents with guidance on how they can assist in the process. It is our goal to secure opportunities for our players to play college basketball at any attainable level – whether at a 2-year junior college (with an opportunity to transfer to a 4-year university), or an NAIA, Division III, Division II or Division I university.

Our recruiting education program begins with establishing a clear understanding in the minds of our players and their parents on the role of academics in the college recruiting process. (It matters -- in some instance, it matters a lot). Players who are selected to play for a San Diego All-Stars team are expected to identify themselves as a "college-bound student-athlete" which means we expect an academic commitment from our players equal to their athletic commitment. Parents are given guidance on how to match college education goals with college basketball opportunities.

Working together, we hope to improve your son’s opportunities to attend a university as a student-athlete. Among all our players, by promoting and developing leadership characteristics such as integrity, honesty, team work, discipline, hard work, and commitment, we hope to prepare our players for life’s opportunities and challenges, both on and off the court.
